Duane M. Whitlock, M.D.

Dr. Duane Whitlock attended University of Maryland School of Medicine and graduated in 1999. He attended Christiana Hospital in Newark, Delaware for his internship, which was completed in 2000. His residency was completed in 2003 at Geisinger Medical Center, in Danville, PA. He is Board Certified from the American Board of Ophthalmology. Dr. Whitlock specializes in cataract surgery and medical eye exams.
He is qualified to manage a variety of eye-related conditions such as cataracts, diabetic retinopathy, age-related macular degeneration, glaucoma, infections, dry eye and much more.
Dr. Whitlock is originally from North East, MD. He currently resides in Gettysburg, PA with his wife Lindsay, and their 12 children. He is a genuine physician, believing in always providing exceptional patient care with his God given talent.
Erica Beaver, O.D.

Dr. Erica Beaver graduated from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University in May 2016 with highest honors, clinical excellence in primary care, and clinical honors on all of her external rotations. She also completed an Advanced Studies program focusing on Anterior Segment, which includes the cornea, iris, and lens. Prior to optometry school, she attended Millersville University, where she was enrolled in an accelerated program that allowed her to complete her fourth year of undergraduate studies while completing her first year of optometry school.
She specializes in comprehensive eye exams, specialty and routine contact lens exams, and post-surgery examinations. She is qualified to manage eye-related conditions such as diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma, macular degeneration, dry eye, and ocular emergencies. Dr. Beaver is an active member of the American Optometric Association and the Pennsylvania Optometric Association.
Dr. Beaver is originally from Ringtown, PA. She currently resides in Gettysburg, PA with her husband Scott, their daughter Scarlett, their son Oliver, their cat Cinnia, and their dog Bruce.
Dr. Chad Tiede

Dr. Chad Tiede graduated from Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 2005. He then began a four year military career in the Army Medical Service Corps and was stationed at Reynolds Army Community Hospital at Ft. Sill, Oklahoma in addition to a deployment in Iraq.
Upon completing military service, Dr. Tiede provided comprehensive eye care in Pennsylvania and Maryland. He is excited to join Gettysburg Ophthalmology Associates! Dr. Tiede has extensive experience managing ocular disease including glaucoma, cataracts, macular degeneration, diabetic eye disease, dry eye, pre and post operative care, and helping patients see their best now and for a lifetime. Dr. Tiede is board certified by the American Board of Optometry and member of the American Optometric Association.
Born in Colorado, Dr. Tiede has lived and traveled around the world living in Japan, Germany, and numerous states. When not in the office, Dr.Tiede enjoys family time with his wife and two daughters, watching and playing sports and reading American history.
